Question from: Moxie1313
Travel insurance – which plan to pick?
My husband and I are going on a trip to Disney in May. I’d rather spend a little money now and not need a policy than not pay anything and regret it if anything comes up.
I’ve checked many sites, and I’ll be going through squaremouth.com – but how do I know which policy is best? Should I go for the ones that cover delays with less time(6 hours vs 8 hours) or more money for lost baggage, or should I just go with the one that offers the most at the cheapest price?
A Yahoo Answer:
Squaremouth runs a zero complaint policy which means that all carriers on the site have to maintain a zero complaint level with Squaremouths clients or their products are removed from the site. This allows you to pick whichever travel insurance policy that makes sense (even if it is the cheapest) without fear of getting a low quality product.
The time of delay is not a big issue, baggage is more important, make sure that the baggage cover does not have article or item limits that are too low for you.
Also, call Squaremouth; they will spend time with you and answer all of your questions.
