Question from: Z L
I am an Australian citizen needing medical insurance while travelling in the USA. Any recommendations? Will my Australian medical insurance cover me abroad?
A Yahoo Answer:
Medical cover can be very expensive in the USA. Australian cover may not work. The best bet is to buy some inexpensive medical insurance that will cover you for any health or accident problems that are not currently existing.
Squaremouth is a USA based travel insurance site that specializes in international medical cover.
You can sort by price and get instant documentation so you could buy the day before you need it. You can also buy after you arrive in the USA.
