A question from: princess_shakierra
Do I need travel insurance? I am travelling to New York in two days and when going to purchase travel insurance have discovered it costs £92! Do I really need to buy it, because I bought it for a recent trip to Paris and my luggage was temporarily lost and they found a way to get out of paying up.
I’m not asking if I should get it, just if I can actually go on holiday without it or is it a legal requirement?
Thanks
A Yahoo Answer:
You should always get travel insurance as the USA medical costs can be huge.
Squaremouth is a good place to compare multiple policies. There is a UK and a US site. The US site could be a good choice for you as the exchange rate is so good right now.
