Some travel insurance polices will allow you to insure a $0 trip cost and still offer some limited cover for trip interruption. This cover is usually for “return air” and only to a maximum limit of $750 – $1,000 depending on the policy. You would not be covered for any prepaid unused travel arrangements as a result of a trip interruption.
