Travel insurance policies will not reimburse you for the value of airline tickets purchased with frequent flyer miles or points in the event you must cancel your trip. However, some policies now offer a benefit of $150 to cover an airline imposed change or reissue fee or the fee to re-bank frequent flyer miles.
