Most travel insurance policies have excluded cancellation coverage for mental,  nervous or emotional disorders including depression and anxiety.  However, the exclusions can vary between insurance companies.  Travel Insured International will exclude mental and emotional disorders unless hospitalized.  Travelsafe will cover mental, nervous or psychological disorders requiring inpatient hospitalization of 3 days or more.
