CSA has released an official position statement regarding Tropical Storm Danny.
Tropical Storm Danny has formed in the Atlantic Ocean near the Dominican Republic. As of August 25, 2009, the storm was weak, however, forecasters said it could pose a risk to the Eastern seaboard as it progresses North. Certain CSA Travel Protection plans offer coverage for some effects of adverse weather. Customers are strongly encouraged to read their Certificate of Insurance or Insurance Policy for details regarding their available coverage. For those plans that do offer coverage for adverse weather, please note that there is no coverage for this specific storm under any plans purchased on or after August 25, 2009.
