The short answer is yes, however it depends on the actual date that you made the first deposit. A few policies will waive the exclusion for pre-existing conditions if you purchase the travel insurance within 21 to 30 days of the first payment or deposit. These policies are offered by Travelex and Travel Insurance Services and additional conditions may apply for the waiver. In addition, if you have made a deposit and still have the signifcant portion of the trip cost to pay, the Highway to Health (HTH) Trip Protector plans and CSA WebDirect Luxe will waive the exclusion. These policies must be purchased prior to making the final trip payment.
